ORANGE COUNTY, FL (October 7, 2026) — State Attorney Monique Worrell has announced the conviction of Steven Edwin Wiley and Cheryl Ann Pyle, who were found guilty of Assault (Evidencing Prejudice) for a July 2025 incident.
ORANGE COUNTY, FL (October 6, 2026) — State Attorney Monique Worrell has announced the convictions of Michael Dean Smith Jr. and Michael Dean Smith Sr. following a trial stemming from a fraud scheme involving their now-closed classic car consignment business.
ORANGE COUNTY, FL (October 2, 2026) — On Thursday, October 1, 2026, an Orange County jury convicted Doujon Griffiths on all counts for the senseless murders of Massania Malcom and her 1-year-old daughter, Jordania, and for the shooting of Ms. Malcom's boyfriend. When Griffiths had nowhere to go, Ms. Malcom and her boyfriend opened their home to him. He repaid that kindness with unspeakable violence and then left a baby to die.
OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL (October 1, 2026) — This week, Scott Shaw was sentenced to 45 years in prison following his August conviction on several sex crimes against a child. A prison sentence of 45 years ensures that Scott Shaw will never again have access to children. He used trust and his standing in the community to gain access to a 15-year-old victim, and he was held accountable for those crimes.
