State Attorney Monique H. Worrell’s Statement on the Danielle Redlick Verdict
ORANGE COUNTY (June 17, 2022) — Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney Monique H. Worrell announces a six–person jury in Orange County found Danielle Justice Redlick, 48, not guilty of seconddegree murder in the homicide of Mr. Michael Redlick. Ms. Redlick was found guilty of tampering with evidence. We want to commend our prosecutors who spent the past several weeks prosecuting this matter. They handled this high-pressure case diligently, and with a tremendous amount of integrity and professionalism. We are very fortunate to have them as members of our team and thank them for fighting so rigorously for justice. As always, we want to thank the jury for their service and careful consideration of this case and respect their findings. Additionally, we would like to thank the Winter Park Police Department for their diligent work on this case. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends and loved ones of Mr. Michael Redlick.
Ms. Redlick will be sentenced on the felony tampering with evidence charge on August 5, 2022.
